How to use
- Enter the phone number that should receive the text. Use + and the country code for international use.
- Optionally type a message to prefill.
- Check the number shown above the preview.
- Download the QR code as PNG or SVG and test it with a phone.
Supported input and limits
- Numbers with 5 to 15 digits. Spaces, dashes, dots and brackets are removed automatically.
- Messages up to 300 characters. Short messages scan best.
- The phone opens the messaging app. The person still has to press send.
- Support can differ between phones and scanner apps, so test with the devices your audience uses.
- Optional logo: you can place your own logo in the center of the QR code. Logos can be PNG, JPG or WebP files up to 2 MB. When a logo is added, error correction is set to High automatically and the logo size can be set between 10 and 25 percent of the code.
Privacy
- The QR code is generated in your browser from the details you enter.
- Anyone who scans the code can see the number and message stored in it.
- If you add a logo, it is also used only in your browser.
Troubleshooting
- If the message does not appear, try scanning with the built-in camera app instead of a third-party scanner.
- If the code does not scan, increase the size or raise the error correction level.
- Always test the downloaded QR code before printing it.
- If a code with a logo does not scan, make the logo smaller or remove it, then test the code again with a phone.
